APTA recently launched the Physical Therapy Moves Me campaign to target the next generation of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Through strategic efforts the campaign is designed to spread the word about the physical therapy profession and available career opportunities to students from multiple populations, specifically K-16. Goals of the program include efforts to raise awareness of the profession, recruit the next generation, and increase the diversity within the applicant pool. As part of this initiative the WVPTA hopes to identify two volunteers that would like to serve in these volunteer roles. If you are interested in volunteering you may contact Scott Davis directly at davis1090@marshall.edu. For further information on the Physical Therapy Moves Me campaign, access the APTA siteĀ here.
