Call for Abstracts
APTA – West Virginia Annual Conference

APTA – West Virginia invites physical therapy researchers across West Virginia to submit abstracts for presentation at the 2026 Annual Conference, taking place August 22–23, 2026, in Charleston, WV.

Submission Timeline

• July 1, 2026: Abstract submission deadline

The two highest-scoring abstracts will be selected for brief platform presentations during the Saturday Business Meeting.

Submission Fees

• $25.00 per abstract (clinicians/educators)
• $15.00 per abstract (students)

Authorship Guidelines

• Presenting authors may submit a maximum of two abstracts
• There is no limit on submissions as a secondary author

Presentation Schedule

• Platform Presentations: Saturday, August 22, 2026
  • 12:00–1:30 PM
• Poster Presentations: Sunday, August 23, 2026
  • 10:00–11:00 AM

Additional Requirements

• Full conference registration is required for all presenters
• Applicants must be members of APTA – WV or be sponsored by a current member
