Angela earned a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Wheeling University. She completed her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chatham University and is working on her dissertation for her Doctorate in Leadership Studies from Marshall University. She has been in clinical practice for 20 years and, five years ago, transitioned her career to academia when she was hired to develop the PTA program at New River Community and Technical College. She serves as the Program Director and the Department Chair for the Allied Health and Sciences Department. She has been active with the APTA at the state and national levels, most recently completing a three-year term as the APTA Academy of Education Volunteer Coordinator.
