Jamie Tridico

Vice-President

Dr. Tridico is a physical therapist in Charleston, WV. Dr. Tridico obtained her degrees from Wheeling Jesuit and West Virginia University and DPT from Chatham University. Dr. Tridico has worked in the hospital setting, SNF, rehabilitation and outpatient clinics and did home health and hospice for several years. She finds the physical therapy profession an amazingly rewarding career and is continually looking to provide ways to give back to the community and grow professionally. She owns and operates Advanced Physical Therapy, specializing in the treatment of orthopedic and neurological conditions, with a special emphasis on Parkinson’s disease. One of the ways in which she has helped the community has been in establishing the Rock Steady Boxing program for people with Parkinson’s disease. This was started in 2016 at a small boxing gym and with the growth of the program, Advanced Physical Therapy and the YMCA joined forces and there are now two classes offered each week for free to the participants. Dr. Tridico would like to become more involved in the leadership of APTAWV and work with a strong leadership team to support and promote the profession and its members. The vision and mission of APTAWV strongly align with her own values, service to others, building a stronger community, advocating for the patients, and providing exceptional physical therapy services. It would be an honor and a privilege to serve as Vice President of the West Virginia Physical Therapy Association.
