SSIG Secretary

Kristen Spearen is currently a third-year physical therapy student at Marshall University. She graduated from WVU in 2021 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology, with an emphasis of Aquatic Therapy, and two minors in Strength & Conditioning and Psychology.
Having stepped in to fill a vacancy in this role this past year, I have already demonstrated my commitment and enthusiasm for our student community and the field of physical therapy. This experience has reinforced my dedication to fulfilling the responsibilities of Secretary within SSIG with diligence and passion. As Secretary, I understand the importance of maintaining accurate records, facilitating communication, and ensuring that our SSIG operates smoothly and effectively. My organizational skills have proven to be a valuable asset in managing these tasks efficiently. Clear and transparent communication is crucial for the success of any organization, and I am confident in my ability to keep all SSIG members informed and engaged in our initiatives and activities. I will continue to work closely with our SSIG leadership team and members to identify growth opportunities, address challenges, and amplify the voices of our student community. In conclusion, I am deeply committed to serving our SSIG and contributing to the continued success and growth of our student community. I am grateful for the opportunity to be considered for the role of Secretary once again and pledge to uphold the values and mission of our organization with integrity and enthusiasm.
