Sujoy Bose, PT, DPT, MHS, CCS, is an Associate Professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Marshall University and a board-certified clinical specialist in cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy. He has been an APTA member since 2001 and a member of the West Virginia Chapter since 2014. His prior service includes Treasurer of the Michigan Physical Therapy Association – Eastern District, as well as national leadership roles within APTA, including Chief Delegate of the Academy of Acute Care Physical Therapy. He has also served as a SACE II item writer for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). He currently serves with ABPTRFE as a Candidacy Review Council member and site visitor.
Candidate Statement:
I am honored to be considered for the role of Treasurer of the APTA–West Virginia Chapter. I am an Associate Professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Marshall University and a boardcertified clinical specialist in cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy. I have been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2001 and of the West Virginia Chapter since 2014. My professional service has included leadership roles at both the state and national levels. Earlier in my career, I served as Treasurer of the Michigan Physical Therapy Association – Eastern District, where I was responsible for financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting. I have also served in elected and appointed roles within APTA, including Secretary and later Chief Delegate of the Academy of Acute Care Physical Therapy, as well as ongoing service with the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education as a Candidacy Review Council member and site visitor.
