Sydney Wellman is a second-year student at Marshall University’s School of Physical Therapy. She graduated from Marshall University in 2022 with a B.S. in Biomechanics. During her time at Marshall, she conducted undergraduate research on the effects of fatigue, muscle activation, and joint motion on knee injury risk in high school volleyball players. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, going on outdoor adventures, exploring new places, and trying new foods. Sydney is looking forward to the opportunity to serve APTA-WV in the role of SSIG as treasurer. Sydney appreciates you consideration and hopes that you will choose to elect her into the WV SSIG.
